The Emily Program is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist – Float to support PHP, Inpatient, and Residential milieus. This role provides therapeutic group facilitation, meal support, and backfill coverage across sites or virtually within a defined region, ensuring a recovery-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include leading CBT/DBT groups, self-monitoring, and activity sessions, plus contributing to treatment planning and supervision as needed.

Formación

• A bachelor’s degree in a mental, behavioral, counseling, or behavioral sciences health-related field is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience in a mental/behavioral health setting is required, regardless of degree.
• Valid driver’s license required for Residential or Inpatient sites.
• Current Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• Current First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Washington state Department of Health Food Handler permit within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitates therapy groups including skills groups (CBT and DBT), self-monitoring, and experiential activity groups.
• Participates in therapeutic supported meals and snacks.
• Contributes to a recovery-oriented therapeutic environment.
• Participates in client therapeutic outings.
• Meets with residents to provide support and in-the-moment skills coaching.
• Supports individualized treatment plans as developed by therapist and treatment team.
• Participates in treatment team, mini team, therapy team, and/or case consultation meetings.
