Job summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Behavioral Specialist to support adults with special needs in community, work, and home-based settings.

You will partner with families and existing providers to implement individualized goals and improve life experiences. Key duties include observing participants, developing and revising behavior support plans, conducting FBAs, training staff and families, and maintaining data, progress reports, and annual planning materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, ABA or PA Behavior Specialist License.
• Complete state training for Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) or willingness to complete during application process.

Responsibilities

• Observe participants in various settings and collaborate with family and team to implement behavior support plans.
• Complete FBAs by conducting functional assessments of presenting issues.
• Train staff, participants, families and caretakers on behavior support plan implementation.
• Complete required paperwork: data collection, progress reports, monthly/quarterly reports and annual planning materials.
