Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. in Lancaster, PA is seeking an experienced Behavioral Specialist to support adults with developmental needs in home, community and day programs.

You will design and implement positive behavior support plans, collaborate with families and staff, and document progress. Requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field, at least 2 years of autism/ID experience, FBA training, and PA Behavior Specialist license or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Autism and/or ID.
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, ABA or PA Behavior Specialist License.
  • Completed FBA training with Post Test Certification or willingness to complete during application.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle registration and auto insurance.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.
  • Training to meet participant needs including communication, mobility and behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Observe participants in various settings and collaborate with families to develop a positive behavior support plan and revise as needed.
  • Complete FBAs by conducting functional assessments of presenting issues.
  • Provide training on implementing behavior support plans with staff, family, and caretakers.
  • Complete required paperwork including data collection, progress reports, and planning materials.
