Job summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. provides community, work, and home based services to adults with special needs. We seek an experienced Behavioral Specialist to support individuals in our comprehensive services.

You will observe participants, develop and implement positive behavior support plans, perform FBAs, train staff and families, and complete required progress and planning documentation. A valid PA driver's license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Autism and/or other IDs.
  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, ABA or PA Behavior Specialist License.
  • State-approved FBA training with post-test certification, or willingness to complete during application.
  • Valid driving license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance for services.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Observe the participant in various settings and collaborate with family and team to develop and implement a positive behavior support plan; revise as needed.
  • Complete FBAs by conducting comprehensive functional assessments of participant's presenting issues.
  • Conduct training related to the implementation of behavior support plans with staff, the participant, their family members and caretakers.
  • Complete required paperwork related to data collection, progress reporting, monthly/quarterly reports and development of annual planning material.
