Parkland Health seeks an experienced Social Work Manager to oversee daily operations and supervise staff in the Social Work service line at the Main Hospital Bldg. You will coordinate psychosocial assessments and implement the plan of care to ensure patients have resources and support services.

The role requires a Master’s in Social Work, Texas LMSW license, six years of social work experience, and preferred health-care management background.

Formación

• Must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work.
• Six (6) years of Social Work experience.
• Must be licensed by the Texas State Board of Social Work (LMSW).
• Prefer Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and manages daily operations of the Social Work service line.
• Supervises and evaluates practitioners and students, including training and scheduling.
• Performs psychosocial screenings and assessments, implementing the psychosocial plan of care.
• Leads discharge planning and facilitates timely patient discharge with community resources.
• Provides crisis intervention and counseling for patients and families as needed.
• Develops and delivers staff education programs; ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
