Job summary

Signet Health, in partnership with Ozarks Healthcare, seeks an Administrative Director of the Behavioral Health Service Line to provide strategic and operational leadership for a full continuum of behavioral health services in West Plains, MO.

This executive will oversee a 22-bed inpatient unit, CC BHC outpatient services, crisis care, and consult liaison evaluation, driving quality, access, financial sustainability, and alignment with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in healthcare, Business Administration or related field.
• Nursing degree and minimum of five years’ experience preferred.
• 10+ years progressive Behavioral Health operations experience with at least 5 years in a director’s role or higher.
• Experience in managing physician relationships.
• Experience developing and implementing a continuous improvement culture with knowledge of process-improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Missouri governmental oversight, reimbursement and regulation for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services.
• Demonstrated leadership across multiple levels of care in behavioral health.
• Experience developing and maintaining effective relationships with physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, financial management, program development, and operational performance improvement.
• Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, analytical, and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Advance physician engagement and drive operational excellence in patient care delivery.
• Recruit physicians, advanced practice providers, and management staff for behavioral health.
• Oversee business development and marketing efforts for the behavioral health service line.
• Develop and implement strategic operating and capital budgets.
• Provide oversight to a comprehensive behavioral health service line including inpatient unit, outpatient services, crisis center, and consult liaison evaluation.
• Plan and implement behavioral health system integration across Ozarks Healthcare services.
• Collaborate with clinical and quality leadership to improve national quality measures.
• Serve as the system expert and operational resource for Behavioral Health within the leadership team.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for BH across inpatient, outpatient, crisis, and consultative services.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive BH strategy for integration, access, quality, growth, and financial sustainability.
