Responsibilities

  • Coordinate development and monitoring of operating/capital budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, margins, labor costs, productivity, and other financial indicators.
  • Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and financial feasibility assessments for service line.
  • Support financial reporting, reconciliation, and other financial activities.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Monitor registration, charge capture, clean claims, denials, underpayments, accounts receivable, collections, authorizations, and revenue leakage.
  • Coordinate revenue-cycle improvement initiatives with finance, coding, compliance, contracting, payer relations, and revenue-cycle teams.
  • Evaluate payer and reimbursement changes for financial and administrative impact.
  • Support financial modeling and reporting for value-based and alternative payment arrangements.
  • Develop and maintain scorecards for financial, revenue-cycle, access, scheduling, referral, capacity, productivity, grant, project, and other administrative measures.
  • Establish standardized performance measures, reporting processes, and data-validation practices.
  • Analyze trends, identify performance gaps, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Facilitate performance reviews and track approved improvement actions.
  • Provide analytic support for administrative PI initiatives and required accreditation reporting.
  • Plan and coordinate approved business, IT, revenue-cycle, facility, and grant projects.

BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICE LINE, West Plains, Missouri

Signet Health, a national behavioral health management company, in collaboration with Ozarks Healthcare, is seeking an experienced healthcare business operations professional to support the financial sustainability, administrative performance, and strategic development of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services, including the Neuropsychiatry Unit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC), and Crisis Services Center (CSC).


Signet Health provides a competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits package. The budgeted salary for this position is$125,000, based on experience.


The BH Business Operations Manager leads and coordinates financial management, revenue-cycle performance, business analytics, project management, grant administration, and operational performance improvement.


This is a nonclinical business and administrative position. The Manager collaborates with Ozarks Healthcare’s BHSL staff, including the Inpatient and CCBHC clinical, medical, operational, and administrative leadership but does not direct, supervise, evaluate, or make decisions regarding clinical services, clinical personnel, or patient care.


Primary Responsibilities:

Financial & Fiscal Management


  • Coordinate development and monitoring of operating/capital budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Behavioral healthcare experience preferred.
