Job summary

Mercy seeks a Behavioral Health RN for the Mercy St Louis area. The role involves planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating operations and patient care in designated areas.

You will serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients, and may function as a staff nurse or take on managerial duties as delegated. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), a current RN license in the hiring state/compact, and 2 years of patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• 2 years' experience in patient care is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate the operations and patient care of designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
