The Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of the behavioral health unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with leadership to oversee patient care, staffing, and unit operations. Promote a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Lead, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff, supporting their growth through ongoing education and assessments. Manage quality improvement initiatives by developing and implementing performance monitors. Delegate shift duties such as chart checks, supply management, and documentation. Respond confidently to emergencies and adapt to unpredicted situations, prioritizing tasks independently.

Qualifications & Skills:

Must hold an associate degree in Nursing and a valid Multi-State RN license. BLS CPR certification required within 7 days of hire, with CPI certification during orientation. Preferred candidates have 2-3 years of acute care experience with leadership skills. Ability to respond to crises, delegate effectively, and promote service excellence is essential.
