Job summary

INDBH is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in a full-time day shift. The RN will coordinate assessments, interventions, and education per clinical protocols and orders.

The role requires strong collaboration with physicians, nurses, and staff, adherence to safety and infection control, and commitment to high-quality care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• RN license required; Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care following the nursing process and physician orders.
• Assess patients and document findings; report changes to care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control practices and safety standards.
• Document care thoroughly in medical records.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
