Job summary

Lower Keys Medical Center is hiring a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift. The RN delivers patient-centered care, coordinates with the care team, and supports families throughout treatment and discharge planning.

The role requires an active RN license, BCLS, and ability to work in a fast-paced behavioral health setting. A $10K sign-on bonus is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in the state where employed.
• Basic Life Support required; additional life support certifications preferred.
• Experience in clinical nursing or student rotations in acute care.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly.
• Commitment to patient safety and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using nursing process (assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team on individualized care plans.
• Document care accurately in the medical record and communicate changes.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and post-discharge care.
