Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license as required by the state.
• One year nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral background a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Administer medications per ordered notes and document accurately.
• Demonstrate patient safety and collaborate with treatment teams.
