Job summary

BayCare Health Systems in the Tampa Bay area is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Pool RN to join our compassionate team at St. Joseph's North Behavioral Health Hospital in Lutz.

This role includes caring for patients, supporting the ECT program, and providing occasional float coverage within the department. Required qualifications include an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and at least 2 years of acute care RN experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license and active state registration (Florida).
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Preferred experience in Critical Care or procedural areas.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Specialty in psychiatric or behavioral health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cares for a group of patients using nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other health team members.
• Maintains professional accountability and ongoing development.
• Float to ECT Program as needed.
