Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in Nursing required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, provides, supervises and documents professional nursing care per orders and policies.
• Collaborates with nurses, physicians, and healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Charts observations and activities in electronic health record.
• Provides safe, compassionate care for a behavioral health patient population.
• Guides assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Assesses physiologic and psychosocial changes in patient condition.
• Performs interventions according to priorities and hospital standards.
• Collects blood specimens by venipuncture for lab analysis.
• Operates department-specific equipment.
