Bon Secours is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for the Behavioral Health Unit at Richmond Community Hospital. You will provide direct patient care, develop and implement care plans, and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment during night shifts.

Requires BSN preferred, active RN licensure, and 1 year of RN experience with preference for behavioral health. EPIC EHR knowledge and de-escalation training are a plus; sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current state RN licensure required.
• BLS on hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.
• 1 year RN experience; behavioral health experience preferred.
• EPIC EHR training preferred; de-escalation training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care per plan of care and nursing scope.
• Assess and document patient conditions; report changes.
• Administer medications, insulin, IV fluids with thorough documentation.
• Inspect wounds; change dressings; assist with hygiene.
• Use interviewing skills to gather information for treatment plan.
• Assess for complications; deliver appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with providers, aides, and health professionals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
