Job summary
Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky, seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Behavioral Health Unit. The role delivers direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborates with psychiatrists and the medical director, and supports a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
- Active Kentucky RN license or compact license
- BCLS certification is required
- Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process for behavioral health patients
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical director, and interprofessional team to ensure safe, therapeutic environment
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the medical record
- Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to care team and family
- Assist patients with activities of daily living as needed
- Participate in unit and organizational performance improvement and education requirements
