Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse - New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Bases nursing actions by applying principles of purposeful, organized thinking to make clinical judgment/decisions.
• Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment and interprets data to plan and implement interventions.
• Develops and revises the plan of care and nursing actions to meet patient needs.
• Documents care provided and patient progress toward outcomes.
• Directs and supervises others in delegated nursing activities.
• Teaches patients about the plan of care and prepares them to manage care after discharge.
• Manages time and resources to deliver patient care.
• Administers medications to patients.
• Provides direct patient care and leads the health care team.
