Job summary

Concord Hospital in New Hampshire is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide patient- and family-centered care in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Requirements include BSN preferred, NH RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience. The role reports to the Director/Nurse Manager and may involve supervising support staff.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse - New Hampshire Board of Nursing
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• One-year prior clinical nursing experience.
• Evidence of the ability to work effectively with patients and the multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Bases nursing actions by applying principles of purposeful, organized thinking to make clinical judgment/decisions.
• Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment and interprets data to plan and implement interventions.
• Develops, evaluates and revises patient's plan of care and nursing actions in response to patient needs.
• Documents care provided and patient progress toward outcomes.
• Directs and supervises others in delegated nursing activities.
• Teaches patient and/or family about the plan of care and prepares patients to manage their care after discharge.
• Manages time and resources to deliver patient care.
• Administers medications to patients.
• Provides direct patient care.
• Leads the health care team.
• Serves as a Resource Person for assigned shift.
• Serves as a preceptor for new employees.
