Job summary

Hickory Trail Hospital in DeSoto, Texas, a part of Universal Health Services, seeks a House Supervisor (RN) to ensure coordinated patient care across shifts in a behavioral health setting. You will lead nursing staff and collaborate with the Intake and Admissions teams to manage admissions, discharges, and transfers with compassion and efficiency.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, Texas RN licensure, and at least three years of psychiatric health-care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
• Current Texas RN license (or eligible to renew).
• Knowledge of JCAHO, HCFA, OSHA and regulatory requirements; may require weekends/overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure coordinated patient care per standards and hospital policy.
• Supervise nursing staff during shifts.
