Job summary

Hickory Trail Hospital, an 86-bed behavioral health facility just south of Dallas, is seeking a Part-Time Weekend House Supervisor (RN) to oversee nursing staff and patient care on weekend shifts. The role requires Texas RN licensure and CPR/BLS, with 3 years in psychiatric care preferred.

New grads welcome. You will coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with the Intake team while upholding hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing by the Texas State Board of Nursing (or eligible).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and direct patient care during weekend shifts.
• Coordinate with Intake/Admissions on admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Ensure care delivery meets established standards of care and hospital policy.
• Work closely with psychiatry and behavioral health teams to support patient safety and treatment goals.
