Job summary

Rockford Center in Newark, DE is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time Behavioral Health position. Shifts are 12 hours: 7am–7:30pm or 7pm–7:30am, with a sign-on bonus of $7,500–$10,000 and a required 2-week orientation. (Mon–Fri 8:30A–5:00P orientation.)

The RN will provide direct nursing care under physician guidance, following state nurse practice acts and facility policies, serving diverse age groups and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current DE RN license (or eligible to renew).
• New grads encouraged to apply with orientation/mentorship program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per physician orders and facility policies.
• Assess patient conditions and document changes.
• Administer medications and document rationale/effectiveness.
• Notify nurse manager of changes in patient status.
• Collaborate on individualized care plans with the team.
• Perform treatments and therapies as ordered.
• Document care provided and patient responses.
• Document PRN meds given and effects.
• Initiate CPR and emergency procedures as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and respectful care.
