Job summary

Rockford Center in Newark, Delaware, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our behavioral health unit. The RN provides direct patient care under physician supervision, with two 12-hour shifts weekly and rotating weekends and holidays.

The RN will document care, administer PRN meds, and participate in crisis interventions as needed. A DE RN license and CPR are required; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in DE or eligible to renew.
• New grads encouraged to apply; orientation and mentor program available.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to patients as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with facility policies.
• Administers PRN medications with documented rationale and effectiveness.
• Reports changes in patient status to supervisor during each shift.
• Notifies family/physician when patient is transported or requires escalation of care.
• Collaborates with the care team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Performs treatments and therapies as ordered by the physician.
