Job summary

Rockford Center in Newark, DE is seeking a Registered Nurse for behavioral health. This full-time role offers 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am, with a 2-week orientation to acclimate you to services for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

You will deliver direct patient care under physician supervision, document care, administer PRN meds, and collaborate with the care team to tailor individualized plans. DE RN license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Delaware (DE).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients as prescribed by physician and under supervision.
• Assess patient condition and document in the medical record.
• Administer PRN medications with rationale and document effectiveness.
• Report changes in patient status to nurse manager or supervisor each shift.
• Collaborate with the team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Perform treatments and therapies as ordered by physician in a timely manner.
• Document patient care, findings, and responses to interventions.
• Document PRN medications given, reason and effect.
• Initiate emergency measures per age-appropriate CPR and resuscitation protocols.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and provide respectful, non-discriminatory care.
