Job summary

Recovery Centers of America at Mount Dora is currently hiring a part-time, night shift (7pm - 730am) Registered Nurse to join their team. You will conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history, plan and provide nursing care, and collaborate with medical and behavioral health staff to design appropriate treatment plans.

Candidates must hold a current RN license (state required) or be eligible to obtain licensure.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state (or ability to obtain licensure).
• Experience in behavioral health/addiction preferred but not required.
• Strong reading and writing skills; clear communication; attention to spelling/grammar.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiar with facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history.
• Plan and provide nursing care for patients.
• Make nursing diagnoses of medical status and recommend treatment options.
• Consult with medical and behavioral health staff in designing treatment plans.
• Administer medications and note reactions to psychotropic drugs and other meds.
• Arrange further medical attention when necessary.
