Job summary

Cove Forge Behavioral Health Center in Williamsburg, PA, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time evening shifts (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm). This role supports adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns, offering a $20k sign-on bonus and strong shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by state.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral or substance use nursing a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about conditions.
• Provide nursing care per standards and scope of nursing practice.
• Ensure physicians’ orders are legible and transcribed properly.
• Assess patient status and document pertinent information.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status and challenges.
• Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently.
• Demonstrate professional rapport and maintain boundaries with patients.
• Provide direction or coordinate unit activities as directed.
• Communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and staff.
