Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled Psychiatric registered nurse (RN) for Parkridge, IL, part-time coverage in the Behavioral Health O/P: Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The RN will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care, administering medications and participating in interdisciplinary planning to ensure safe and therapeutic patient outcomes.

Required are completion of an accredited nursing program, an Illinois RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
• CPI de-escalation certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Duties will include medication administration.
• Care documentation.
• Interdisciplinary team treatment planning.
• 1 to 1 patient communication.
• Advocating for patient needs.
