Job summary

Association for Individual Development is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (Full Time) in Highland, IL. The RN will deliver nursing services to meet health care needs, including medication management, assessments, planning and evaluation of care, and collaboration with a broad health team.

Required is an Associate's degree in nursing with an Illinois RN license and BLS; at least two years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited and approved nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted Illinois Registered Nurse License in good standing; BLS certification.
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and/or neurological impairments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess health needs and plan for provision of health services in collaboration with clients and health team.
• Provide nursing care, medication management, monitoring, and training for clients as needed.
• Complete nursing documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Participate in service planning, staff meetings, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
