Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health in the Chicago, IL area. The role requires BSN or higher, an active RN license, and at least 1 year in behavioral health, inpatient or outpatient settings.

Strong knowledge of psychotropic meds and patient confidentiality is essential. The nurse will assess patients, administer meds, provide therapeutic support, lead group sessions, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team for discharge planning and aftercare.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher from an accredited program.
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ year experience in behavioral health (inpatient or outpatient).
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications, side effects, and administration protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop care plans with a multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for efficacy/side effects.
• Provide emotional and psychological support using evidence-based communication techniques.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on mental health topics.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for discharge planning and aftercare.
