Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for full-time night shift. The RN delivers patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinates with physicians and staff, administers medications, and participates in life-saving interventions as needed.

A strong focus on safety and education for patients and families is required. Qualifications include 0-2 years in clinical nursing or student rotations in acute care, with licensure to practice as an RN and BCLS

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process and hospital policies.
• Documents patient assessments accurately and reports changes to care team.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the team.
• Administers medications, monitors for side effects, and documents appropriately.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities.
