Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care on weekend nights. The RN will coordinate and deliver care according to clinical protocols and provider orders, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, administering medications, supporting procedures, and educating patients and families while adhering to infection control and safety

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure required
• BCLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process and hospital policies.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
