Job summary

Banner Behavioral Health Hospital (BBHH) in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse for the Night shift. The role involves flexible nursing support across the campus with primary assignments in Central Intake and Assessment, assessing patients, facilitating admissions, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred/required depending on role.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required for specific Banner Health roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs and plan care accordingly.
• Develop and implement care plans including discharge planning and patient education.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely patient care and appropriate bed placements.
• Document nursing care accurately in patient records and communicate status to the care team.
• Provide supervision or guidance to other licensed staff as needed and participate in quality improvement activities.
