Job summary

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Phoenix is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting. You will assess needs, create and implement care plans, administer medications, monitor progress, and work with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and wellness.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice or eligible Compact RN License.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Previous inpatient hospital or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to medical and behavioral health needs.
• Safely administer medications and provide patient education about treatment plans.
• Document patient care, progress, and clinical observations.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Provide leadership and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Respond to crisis situations and promote a safe therapeutic environment.
• Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and quality outcomes.
