Valley Hospital in Phoenix is seeking an Intake Registered Nurse (RN) for day or night shifts. The role focuses on coordinating and documenting patient care for behavioral health patients, in collaboration with the health team.

Licensed in AZ, you will work within a 12-hour shift schedule at our Phoenix facility. Ideal candidates have psychiatric nursing experience, a nursing degree, and a commitment to compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.
• 1 year of medical/surgical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, and document patient care in collaboration with the health team.
• Prescribe/coordinate/evaluate nursing care per nursing process and standards of care.
• Intake RN responsibilities with a focus on behavioral health inpatients/outpatients.
