Job summary

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a Behavioral Health Resource Specialist to join our team. This full-time or .9 FTE role supports patients, coordinates referrals, orders and scores psychological testing materials, and prepares for Behavioral Health Clinic visits.

Responsibilities include organizing documents, answering phones, scheduling appointments, filing patient records, preparing EPIC reports, and liaising with patients and community partners.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of office procedures is normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Completion of an associate or bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Two years of health care experience preferred.
• Ability to meet, collaborate and work efficiently with others.
• Strong patient advocacy skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high degree of professionalism
• Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation to type patient information.
• Ability to file and maintain patient records, files, and other correspondence.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with patients, employees, and the community.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, under pressure, with time constraints.
