Job summary

Apis Services, Inc. is seeking a Community Recovery Specialist to provide daily support for residents in a 10-bed long-term psychiatric unit in Quakertown, PA. The role emphasizes psychiatric rehabilitation principles, documentation, and community integration within a structured program.

The successful candidate will assist with independent living skills, transportation to appointments, and collaboration with the team. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with independent living skills and daily activities (employment, education, money management, medication management, transportation, meal prep, housing searches).
• Transport residents to medical appointments and accompany them to appointments.
• Apply psychiatric rehabilitation principles while implementing the phase system and service planning.
• Complete documentation for groups and individual outings.
• Attend weekly team meetings and monthly supervision with site lead.
