Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management is required.
• Customer-facing experience is required.
• Strong understanding of insurance billing and behavioral health billing.

Responsibilities

• Submit and process denied or unpaid claims with accuracy and timely resolution.
• Research claim issues by identifying root causes and proposing solutions.
• Prioritize and manage high-volume workload based on urgency and impact.
• Own the accounts receivable process for assigned accounts with regular reviews.
• Collaborate with clinicians, practice owners, and customers for proactive account management.
• Identify trends and denial patterns to drive process improvements.
