Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ year of medical billing or revenue cycle management experience.
• 1+ year of customer service or client-facing experience.
• Strong understanding of insurance billing and therapy reimbursement processes.
• Proficiency with billing systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Submit, review, correct, and process denied, rejected, and unpaid claims with accuracy and timeliness.
• Research claim issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Prioritize and manage a high-volume workload based on urgency and impact.
• Own accounts receivable for assigned accounts with analytics and reviews.
• Partner with clinicians and practice owners for proactive account management.
• Identify trends and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.
