Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year of medical billing or revenue cycle management experience.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service or client-facing experience.
• Strong understanding of insurance billing and therapy reimbursement processes.
• Proficiency with billing systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Submit, review, correct, and process denied or unpaid insurance claims with accuracy and timely resolution.
• Research and resolve claim issues by identifying root causes and proposing solutions.
• Prioritize and manage a high-volume workload based on age, complexity, and impact.
• Own the accounts receivable process for assigned accounts with analytics and reviews.
• Collaborate with clinicians, practice owners, and customers for proactive account management.
• Build trusted relationships through meetings, correspondence, and ongoing communication.
• Identify trends and reimbursement challenges, recommending process improvements.
• Utilize technology to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
• Share knowledge with teammates to support continuous improvement and service excellence.
• Stay current on payer requirements and revenue cycle best practices.
