Job summary

Acadia Healthcare seeks a Behavioral Health Associate to deliver and implement recovery programs within a facility. You will coordinate activities, provide companionship, and assist with daily living tasks while collaborating with the treatment team.

The role requires a high school diploma and a bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Social Work, plus one year of behavioral health experience. CPR and de-escalation certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in Human Services, Social Work or related field REQUIRED.
• One or more years of experience in behavioral health preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including coordinating activities, companionship, and assistance with daily needs.
• Collaborate with treatment team to assist with patient care goals.
• May co-lead groups and monitor daily well-being of patients.
• Ensure documentation for care, incidents and treatment is complete and timely.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward patients and address complaints to ensure safety.
