Job summary

Truman Medical Centers is seeking a Behavioral Health Program Director II for the Crisis Department in Kansas City, MO. The role leads clinical and administrative operations across multiple programs within the Behavioral Health division.

You will collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, oversee program budgets, and coordinate with external agencies to ensure 24/7 service delivery. Requires advanced degree in a relevant field and MO licensure for clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s/Doctorate in social work, psychology, counseling or related human services field approved by MO.
• Must be a Qualified Mental Health Provider (e.g., RN, social worker, licensed counselor).
• Clinical licensure in Missouri required if role includes management of a clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Senior Leadership to set long- and short-term goals for assigned areas.
• Provide clinical and administrative oversight to multiple complex programs and service lines.
• Coordinate services with external local and state agencies and other BH providers; participate in budget planning and FY management.
