Job summary

Truman Medical Centers' NKCH Behavioral Health department seeks a BH Program Manager (LCSW/LMSW/LPC) to lead inpatient services in Kansas City, MO. This full-time role runs 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, supervising a diverse team of master's, bachelor's, and non-clinical staff and ensuring evidence-based practice.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Doctorate in a related field, is licensed or eligible as a Qualified Mental Health Provider in Missouri, and brings at least two years of behavioral health

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Missouri licensure or eligibility required.
• Two years of experience, including at least one year in behavioral health.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to lead diverse teams and clients.
• Ongoing training and compliance with driving policy if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in collaboration with the UH Director and Behavioral Health leadership.
• Lead a diverse team of clinical and non-clinical staff, promoting evidence-based practices.
• Ensure clinical documentation is accurate and on time; track performance improvements.
• Manage the financial aspects of the treatment team and program outcomes.
• Boost department, program, and service line outcomes.
