Job summary

Harboroaks in the United States (Mississippi, Arcola) is seeking an individual to deliver and implement behavioral health programs within a facility. You will provide direct patient care, coordinate activities and document care and incidents, while collaborating with a treatment team to meet patient goals.

CPR and de-escalation certification are required; first aid may be required depending on state or facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field preferred).
• One or more years previous experience in behavioral health with population of the facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to include coordinating activities, providing companionship and assisting with basic daily needs (dressing, bathing, eating).
• Collaborate with treatment team members to assist with patient treatment and/or care goals.
• May serve as a co-lead for groups.
• Monitor the daily well-being of patients and identify need for social intervention.
• Ensure all documentation regarding the program, such as care, treatment or incidents, is completed clearly and timely.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers; resolve complaints while prioritizing patient safety.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field (preferred)
