Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Program Coordinator to join the ACT Team in Maryland. The role oversees nonclinical operations, triage calls, coordinate communications, and deescalate client concerns to ensure timely services under the Program Manager.

The position requires at least three years of healthcare administration experience, two years on a multidisciplinary team, and understanding of behavioral health authorization processes.

Qualifications

• At least three years of administrative experience in a healthcare organization.
• At least two years of experience on a multidisciplinary team.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience can be substituted for a degree.
• Experience in healthcare settings serving community clients is a plus.
• Understanding of the authorization process for behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Creates, reviews, and analyzes practice management reports for corrective measures.
• Monitor, maintain, and control all office and clinical supplies related to ACT operation.
• Apply sound business and fiscal management principles for team operations.
• Coordinate with the Program Manager to direct daily service delivery to clients.
• Prepare data for daily meetings and contribute to ad hoc decision-making.
• Maintain a written daily log of clients served and service encounters from last 24 hours.
• Coordinate intake of new clients with Program Manager or intake specialist.
• Share daily office operational responsibilities with team members.
• Ensure the team functions in accordance with State licensing standards for ACT.
• Deliver materials requested by Behavioral Health Administration and other bodies within timelines.
• Provide emergency backup to team members and respond to crises as needed.
• Identify and implement practice needs: services, equipment, facilities.
• Track medication deliveries with psychiatrist and nurses to offices and clients’ homes.
• Maintain relationships with drug representatives to secure medication samples.
• Engage local pharmacies to meet client medication needs.
• Maintain pharmacy vouchers paid from the emergency fund to ensure medications for clients.
