Job summary

The Chautauqua Center (TCC Health) seeks a qualified Behavioral Health Director to oversee the department within an integrated medical setting in Dunkirk and Jamestown, NY. You will lead program planning, clinical coordination, and staffing while ensuring regulatory compliance and budget stewardship.

Ideal candidates bring NYS licensure, 5+ years in behavioral health with at least 3 in leadership, and experience with OMH/FQHC. Travel to multiple sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed NY clinician with leadership experience in behavioral health.
• Proven management of multidisciplinary teams and budgets.
• Experience in integrated behavioral health and NYS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Leads behavioral health program within integrated medical setting.
• Recruits, supervises and evaluates clinical personnel.
• Monitors patient utilization and staff productivity for access and cost efficiency.
• Participates in external committees to enhance reputation.
• Coordinates services with Nassau University Medical Center for integration.
• Review clinical notes and maintain patient panels.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and staff development plans.
• Oversee internship program and ongoing staff training.
