Job summary

MAS Community Health in Belfast, Maine is seeking a Part-Time Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) to provide in-home support within the client’s community and coordinate with a case management team. You will assist families, transport clients safely in your own vehicle, and follow individualized treatment plans.

Job Overview

We’re looking for certified Behavioral Health Professionals in or near Belfast, Maine.

Requirements

• An active BHP Certification is not required! Our team ensures you have all the tools to become an excellent BHP.
• 1 year of experience working with children is a plus. (I.e. education, childcare, babysitting/nannying, etc.)
• Interest in a career in early childhood education, social work, or psychology
• Flexibility to work some afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Clean driving record and background check
• Ability to provide active motor vehicle insurance & registration
• Ability to provide high school diploma or equivalent

Job Details

• Providing individualized support within the clients' personal home and surrounding community.
• Safely transporting the client within your own personal, reliable vehicle.
• Following the client’s treatment plan outlined and created by the client’s family and the case management team.
• Basic understanding of smart phone applications, access to email communication, and awareness around processing electronic documents such as daily session notes. Training is available.
