Job summary

Join MAS Community Health, one of Maine's largest behavioral health agencies. We are looking for motivated individuals to support children and young adults facing behavioral health challenges.

No certification is needed as we provide the necessary training. Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends is required. Competitive pay up to $27/hour and several benefits including a 401(k) program and accrued paid time off are offered.

Qualifications

• Interest in social work, psychology, or early childhood education.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Clean driving record and ability to provide insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support in clients' homes and communities.
• Transport clients safely using your own vehicle.
• Follow treatment plans from families and case managers.
• Maintain electronic documentation, with training provided.

MAS Community Health is hiring caring, motivated individuals to support children and young adults (ages 1-21) facing behavioral health challenges in Franklin County and the surrounding area. No certification? No problem - we'll train you to become an excellent BHP.

Requirements:

• An active BHP Certification is not required! Our team ensures you have all the tools to become an excellent BHP.

• 1 year of experience working with children is a plus. (I.e. education, childcare, babysitting/nannying, etc.)

• Interest in a career in early childhood education, social work, or psychology
• Flexibility to work some afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Clean driving record and background check

• Ability to provide active motor vehicle insurance & registration

• Ability to provide high school diploma or equivalent

Job Details:

• Providing individualized support within the clients' personal home and surrounding community.

• Safely transporting the client within your own personal, reliable vehicle.

• Following the client's treatment plan outlined and created by the client's family and the case management team.

• Basic understanding of smart phone applications, access to email communication, and awareness around processing electronic documents such as daily session notes. Training is available.
