Qualifications

• 1 year of healthcare billing or insurance verification experience required
• Experience with Medicaid/Managed Medicaid/Medicare or private insurers preferred
• Experience supporting prior authorizations for behavioral health or medical services preferred
• CPR certification ability (or willingness to obtain) is required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate submission, tracking, and approval of prior authorizations for behavioral health services
• Communicate requirements and status with clinical teams and payers
• Review documentation to ensure required information for authorization and billing
• Provide backup support for medical prior authorizations as needed
