Job summary

Washington State Health Care Authority seeks a Prevention Services Compliance Manager to oversee the Prevention MIS, manage contracts, budget, training, and system users. The role requires expertise in behavioral health prevention, data visualization, and relational databases to support reporting for state leadership and stakeholders.

The role will drive policy guidance on data integrity, reporting requirements, and data security, with on-site reporting needs and telework flexibility as business

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher degree in public policy, prevention science, public health, or related field with relevant experience.
• Two+ years of research, training, program design/implementation, data analysis, or evaluation (or four+ years for bachelor’s).
• Ability to manage complex data systems, relational databases, and reporting for state-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of DBHR Prevention MIS and related data reporting.
• Research data system changes, improve data processes, and support policy development.
• Develop and implement division data/ program strategic plans for prevention and promotion services.
• Provide training on data collection, reporting strategies, and system use.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, including Governor’s Office and Legislative leaders.
