Job summary

Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) – Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery seeks a Prevention Services Compliance Manager. You will lead the Prevention MIS, oversee budget, contracts, training, and data quality to support statewide reporting for behavioral health prevention and promotion programs.

The role requires expert data analysis, policy development, and collaboration with Governor’s Office and legislative leaders, with hybrid on-site work in Olympia, WA.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in public policy, prevention science, or public health.
• Several years of research, training, program design, data analysis, or evaluation experience.
• Experience with data systems, reporting, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of the Prevention MIS and related data reporting for DBHR and HCA.
• Research data system options and propose improvements to data processes and policy.
• Coordinate budgets, contracts, and training related to the MIS and reporting.
• Provide expert analyses and guidance on data collection, integrity, and reporting requirements.
