Job summary

Molina Healthcare of Florida is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist for the Northern Florida or Panhandle area to support members using lived experience and work with Behavioral Health and Case Management teams. The role includes caregiver outreach, coordination with case managers, wellness education, documentation, and face-to-face visits as needed.

Hours are Monday–Friday during standard business hours. Qualified candidates have peer support certification, valid driver's license, reliable

Qualifications

• At least 1 year health care experience, preferably in a peer support capacity.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license and reliable transportation for job-related travel.
• Demonstrated knowledge of community resources.
• Knowledge of recovery processes and ability to facilitate recovery using established behavioral health processes.
• Ability to teach and engage in basic problem-solving to support self-directed recovery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task across systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• HIPAA knowledge as applicable by state contract or policy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides peer support services for members with behavioral health needs, collaborating with care teams to achieve outcomes.
• Serves as peer support for behavioral health issues and related conditions; advocates for members.
• Assists members in setting recovery goals with care managers and treatment teams.
• Follows up with member caregivers and coordinates with assigned case managers.
• Local travel may be required based on state/contractual requirements.
